The Jackie Robinson of serial killers.  He has to share with Lake.  How do you even score that?  50/50.  He was probably the lesser of the two and lake was the planner.

Amateur weightlifter and permabulker Fredrick Cowan still out masses him -

.

Judging from his story, he probably would've been a getbigger -

http://www.trutv.com/library/crime/notorious_murders/mass/neptune/index_1.html .

Big dude but not a serial killer - He was a spree killer!

On the dungeon basement wall.  ;D

The whole pdf from Radford makes for some fine macabre reading -

http://maamodt.asp.radford.edu/Serial%20Killer%20Information%20Center/Serial%20Killer%20Statistics.pdf .

Also the breakdowns of some famous ones -

http://skdb.fgcu.edu/public/infamous%20list%20of%20serial%20killers.asp .

Yes it does.  I find the part about average IQs very interesting.  The public believes most serial killers are high IQ Hannibal Lecter types but they aren't.

Great point. Routine, discipline - yes! David Simon said the worst body discovery for a Tec was a dump in the woods because it meant aforethought. Difficulty : %100

Before he was captured, David Berkowitz was known as the "44 caliber killer". I thought that was a cool name.

But after admitting that a demon possessed dog (Sam) gave him the orders to kill people, the media went with "Son of Sam".

I read at one point that Berkowitz claims that his original story (Sam telling him to kill) was a lie. Berkowitz then claimed that he was actually part of a satanic cult.

I think he is still alive today. Getbigger's should visit him (neck training tips?)

Yes, and the simple acting of hiding a body can define a killer as organized.  When a person sees the word organized they assume the killer is a criminal mastermind who kills with precision.

The numbers don't lie. I follow crime statistics very closely. There are many black serial killers and the number is getting larger.  The number of black serial killers is much higher than their percentage in the population.  While white serial killers are lower than their percentage of the population. The same deal with pedophiles.   I've already dispelled these myths before.  How can I trust your insights on Hebrews and comets if you don't know the facts about this subject?
It's been said that the more black folk intergrate into society the more they take on certain attributes/crimes/cultural morays, etc...
Like suicide, serial killing, taking people's parking spaces, Internet stalking...

In the 70's and 80's serial killers were all the rage.  People made famous by killing many others, but not in one big mass shooting but one at a time over years until finally being caught.  I've noticed though in the 2000's that we haven't had any.  Lots of mass murders, but no Ted Bundys or John Wayne Gacies anymore.  They used to even give them awesome nicknames.  Boston Strangler, Zodiac Killer, BTK, Son of Sam and my favorite, The Cleveland Torso Murderer.  You would think with the "Look at me" generation that there'd be more of these type of guys but there isn't.

DNA evidence and better investigative methods make stuff like that obsolete.  You kill someone and 95% of the time, you'll be busted in 48 hours

Honestly, it isn't about proving who's worse.  I don't like the smug self-righteous attitude people have when they say white people are pedophiles or serial killers.   It's thrown in the face of people as a means of asserting moral superiority.

pedophilia is a taboo topic in minority communities, and often not reported...but, the numbers are starting to jump. Due to more reporting, more people coming out.

Same in the UK. No old fashioned serial killers with exotic names any more.

Peter Sutcliffe, known as the Yorkshire Ripper was a classic serial killer. Sent clue notes to the police and everything.
Murdered 13 women and attempted 7 more.

Still alive in Broadmoor mental institute for the criminally insane. A good friend of the late NABBA president Jimmy Savile who himself was suspected of being the Yorkshire Ripper back in the 70's.

Bullshit.  Serial killers are off the radar.  DNA works fine when you have suspects to compare against.  Serial killers are just people that are complete strangers to the victims with no connection to link them.  Gather the DNA and do what with it?

Yes, particularly in the non-English speaking communities.
