Samir deserved it that day but Dickerson was coming off back to back second places where he probably should have won one of them. Samir was coming off two years of looking like shit.

Dickerson was extremely impressive in 80.......very detailed with great tris and calves.....sensational posing presentation as well!


Also had a great showing in 81 and 82.......very deserving in my humble opinion.


Samir was unbeatable in 83!!!

I'm guessing because everything counted. It wasn't just about "the most muscular" or "the best conditioned".

It was probably a great balance of muscularity, conditioning, aesthetiques, posing and stage presence.

It was probably a great balance of muscularitconditioning, aesthetiques, posing and stage presence.

Thats it in a nutshell but in person his conditioning was unreal, as was his presentation and carried himself with class.

He won because he was the best. He was ripped and dense. They denied him to long and they had to give it to him. In that contest Casey Viator was in his best ever condition. He stopped HIT and was training around 15 sets a body part. Some would argue he should have had it but Dickerson physique just flowed together with symmetry and proportion. His one elbow had a huge bone growth and one pec was slightly off from maybe a tear but even with that he was the winner.

CALVES AND TRI'S as stated were top notch on chris,he had bad shaped 'droopy pecs',but he was in shape and these yrs were before the 'haney and mass/shape took over..
