I saw it too. Amazing tech.  It was a long movie that went by quickly. I'm amazed how many people go to the movie  that have never read that amazing book. I understand for some this kind of movie doesn't interest them but for those who enjoy it he did an incredible job.

kind of racist post but whatever. felt akward that they put black people in the human village. just for political correctness. the middle ages the movie sort of depicts there was no black people. neither was there blacks in the books.

Maybe blacks in middle earth lived in a different region?  There were no blacks living in the US just a couple hundred years ago. I'm insulted because there were no lesbians hobbits, dwarfs, or elves. What's up with that? I'm insulted there were no Hispanic hobbits. With all those blades around in the movie don't tell me there were no Hispanics in Middle Earth.

Considering how mexicans enjoy their siestas they would make perfect hobbits; plus most mexicans are also 5'4" tall.

Actually, some of the people they (Sauron) used for the final battle (Battle at Pelennor Fields) were supposed to be people of colorization/down south, The Southrons of Harad / Haradrim, those were the peeps with those Olliphants. (Huge Elephants)

Haradrim, also called in Westron the Southrons, were a race of Men from Harad in the region of Middle-earth directly south of Gondor.

Having Blackies in Tolkien stories is ok though, since Tolkien himself accnowledged it,(Souhtrons helped Sauron in the battle etc), but changing the source-material and making Nick Fury and Heimdall Black and Hogun asian is fucked up!

Also changing Silver Samurai and Rhino to be Armored Suits/Robots is shit as well
