I live near the beach, not a city but small communities with lots of tourists, mainly Dutch and Germans. Now out of season it's much quieter here

Live Free Or Die.  NH can be boring but only 40 miles from Boston.

Nice crib!

7000 sqft! That's a shit-ton. I am at 4200 and I can barely keep up with that.

There is no picture I could post to describe the horror of living in my shit show of a city.  Cold, dark, and the HIGHEST TAXES IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY!!!

Rochester, NY...... where hope and dreams go to die.   :'(

lol Lived there a while. It went from one of the greatest cities around to just scraping by, thanks to guys like Cuomo/Carey. etc.

Exactly.  This city had Kodak, Xerox, Bausch and Lomb, Genesee Brewing, a major university........and idiotic liberal criminals RUINED the entire thing.  It was a goldmine back in the day.  Now we are just a little better than Detroit.  Oooooffaaa, Detroit....talk about a toilet. :o :o :o :o

I know I would.  I think you can have too much of a good thing and take it for granted.  I take the beaches and hot hot weather for granted now.  I am so over it.  Well just the summers....never the beach.  But only in winter do I want to go to the beach, its 21 degrees celusis and that's all I want and need.

My business travels had me all over upstate NY for years and I can't believe what's happened to it!  My daughter attended Syracuse and even that area is crumbling.  Can't even find a decent hotel!

In April we still have air con and its technically autumn.  I only like from May until Sept here.  I am going to do some travelling next year so will get away from heat/sun.

The taxes are the highest in the entire country where i live!!  That pretty much explains everything.  You just cannot make it here.  The weather sucks on top of that.  People come here to go to universities or for business and then RUN THE FUCK AWAY.  Sad too because my father tells me how great it was here in the 50's and 60's and then all the idiotic policies from Albany just ruined this entire state.
