I figured he likened himself to the Roman emperor Tiberius who was known as a social recluse and overall gloomy individual.

Tiberius = River that flows through Rome. "Of Rome". Many people have told me that my facial appearance resembles that of an ancient Roman. And being of Germanic/Anglo-Saxon decent, which isn't too far north of there, and a Roman Catholic.... I figure the name fits.

Jabal = Biblical name which means "the ancestor of those who migrate on foot, trading in livestock. I won't get into explaining why I think this one is fitting, but I'm sure you guys can think of some hilarious (albeit inaccurate) hypothesis as to why I chose it.
