the last james kirkland fight, brutal. surprised his opponent didn't die on the way to the hospital.

That was a great fight as well. Kirkland was getting rocked at the start and then just flipped the script and beat the shit out of tapia. Kirkland was landing some nice clean flsuh punches, fucked tapia up bad. Where has Kirkland been? Has kirkland had a narcotics problem or been in trouble with the law why does he dissapear so often?

Says the dude with a Tap Out hat twisted to the side, brim so straight it turned into a U, sporting two to three 90's tribal tattoos that covered up a arm band, wearing a small affliction/Ed Hardy(on clearance) T, along with some new religion jeans w/ a  touch of bling and factory tears.

LOL- fuck the cage and all that tap-out gear. I wouldn't wear that shit if somebody paid me.

Berto vs Guerrero was the fight where Berto's eyes were both swollen. He looked like ET! That fight was in November 2012 though.

Guerrero fought real dirty in that fight just holding berto with one arm and tagging him with his free arm, what a shitty ref!

maidana vs broner was the most satisfying

I underrated maidana! Broner got beatdown very badly, but props on Broner finishing the fight.! I know nobody had seen broner fight anybody good and look at the outcome. I like Broner and thought he was going to be a pretty good fighter till he fucked up and jumped 2 weight classes since then Broner has been garbage. Broner did everything wrong and moved to fast for somebody his age,Broner should of stayed at 135 lbs for alot longer and then jumped to 140lbs for awhile, broner should is along ways away from being a welterweight. That was years away Broner fucked it all up and made the jump way to quick.

I was screaming blue murder, but decided to watch the finish over and over again without any sound. I am absolutely convinced Groves was finished and away to take one hell of a battering. I swore blind Groves was robbed however i have changed my mind, it might not be the same for everyone but just watch those few seconds in silence over and over, Groves was done IMO.

FOTY for me.

He was ahead on the cards.

The ref should have waited for a knock down.

Stopping a fight when the dude is ahead in a title fight is cruel.

Frochs a hard tough man but hes at best average, he used to call Calzaghe out all the time and whilst he couldn't punch anymore due to his brittle hands he would have been schooled for twelve rounds, very under rated boxer, still think he would have beaten ward easily in his prime, who is the best by far at SM at the moment, Groves is average to and no certainty to win the Froch rematch, hes limited skillwise but hes tough and durable.

Best fight little Tim getting pummelled by Provadnikov

Ref was shitty in Broner fight (Broner was pushing--no point deduction despite multiple warnings, using forearms in an attempt to choke Maidana, etc.), but Broner still got his ass beat.

Got to disagree.

Jeff Lacy was the biggest bum champion at 168 in many a year - and Joe was dragged to the arena to fight him.

He withdrew from fighting brian magee with just 3 days to go, to head off and rematch Mario Veit, whom he'd already beaten in a single round and was absolutely dreadful.

Fact is he was shit scared of Froch, like he was shit scared of Glen Johnson 8 years ago and withdrew from 3 scheduled fights with him. He never rematched Robin Reid who beat him by 2 rounds either.

He flogged lacy after getting him there lets be honest I agree with the whole British fighters ducking the best theory, Reid troubled him no doubt, Mcgee give me a break no one wanted that fight, it would have been mismatch, Johnson style wise he would have had problems with I will give you that, but get off the Froch train, hes nothing but a brawler with a granite chin, Calzagie wasn't the the second coming but he would have schooled him like ward did, don't tell your one of the guys who actually thought that fight was competitive, he looked like a drunk on a Friday night swinging at thin air

Yeah Broner got like 17 "warnings" ::) in that fight.

Even the Latino fellas corner was calling out the ref towards the end telling him to "be fair"

Very poor refereeing that fight, IMO

So really what is your point? That Froch is a bad man? Because he is-most would agree that he is very good.  Not great, but good.

Or are you arguing that he's the best in his division?  Which he is clearly not and probably at least two levels below Andre Ward.

As far as the Joe C comparison-He beat the Groves of his era decisively.

......The reality is Joe was good, but he was no great himself............

Well, at least you finally admitted-in a not so direct way-that Froch is just a good, solid fighter.

I was starting to think you actually thought he belonged in someone like Andre Ward's class.
