batista was advertised for a show on feb. 16 ,2014. this was apparently a leak because two days later he was removed from the card[taken off the poster]. now the wwe says he's returning jan 16 without little fanfare.

Some sites are reporting a program with RKO for the strap. It is said Batista has put on considerable muscle recently for his return, which was negotiated by HHH.

What do you guys think of this? 

I think he should have gone out on top and stayed gone. Not sure if he will be able to get as big as he was. Hopefully his return goes well.

I don't know that his "outside of wrestling" ventures worked as well as he'd planned. Depending on the lifestyle he wants to maintain, he may need a wrestling paycheck.

He may also be eyeing up some of the new crop of divas.

he should stay gone, there is a new era of superstars and fans who wont appreciate him as much as those of us who knew him before do

It's not as if he's from the "New Generation" era. He's only been gone since mid-2010.

Fans popped for Jake Roberts on last week's RAW, and he hasn't been a regular on WWE TV in decades. Batista will be okay.
