I had the opportunity to see Weidman training at Renzo's last month for his camp and the kid looks pretty damn good.

This time around, I think Anderson is taking it. I have never seen Anderson this focused over a fight. I have also never seen Anderson in as good of shape as he is in now (based on a few online pictures posted of him).

The last time around, I picked Silva, even though everyone at the academy picked Weidman. This time around, I am once again going with Silva.

You think? I see Weidman as in a different class than Silva. I hope Silva will not overeem this one too.

This is the great unknown. I know that Silva can pull it off if he comes to work and I hope he brings the killer instinct with him.

Ultimately, I'd like to see a real battle like we did with Jones vs Gustafsson. I want it to go down as the fight of the year.

As someone that followed MMA for a good while, it happens to the best of them.....Matt Hughes, Liddell, Rich Franklin, they hang around long enough and get a little older and along comes the younger version of themselves.  Silva has proven time and time again he defies logic and would not be surprised if he does it again, however, like GSP, you have to recognize when your time has come and gone.  I will take Weidman just because he is that bad match up for Silva..6 years ago I would feel different.  Just as I feel 6 years ago GSP cleans the floor with Hendricks but his time has also come.

You make a point ....however in fairness to OMR the MMA section is very dead. And this is a big event and the hype is huge.

Everyone on Getbig comes to this G&O board and clearly most members support MMA as much as BBing.

And OMR always moves the thread to the MMA section ....once the dust settles.

The fight that comes to my mind is the second fight between wanderlei silva and crocop.
