A lot of experts were saying Silva has to use low leg kicks to win the fight. Silva did just that and now the skinny calved nebrew will most likely have to retire...GSP DONE! SILVA DONE! May as well bring in a new President...Pretty sad when female Ho's are the main ticket of the UFC...

rumor has it that Brock Lesnar is coming back

Buakaw is a beast. He beat Masato. Japan even changed the rules because of Buakaw.

You wanna see elite Wrestling?

Watch the Olympics.

Great submission grappling?

Check out the ADCC championships.

Fantastic hands?

Stick to boxing

Elite level standup?

Lower weight classes in K1 or Authentic Muay Thai fights.

The UFC's current wrestler friendly rules mean that any strong wrestler with average boxing and decent submission defense are able to grind out weak ground and pound decision victories.

MMA standup is a joke more often than not. All you gotta do is land a Spinning backfist or a telegraphed head kick and Joe Rogan will cream his pants with such phrases as "Nasty striker, vicious on his feet, That guy hits HARD, K-1 Level striking" etc.

It's a circus with a bunch of jack of all trade clowns....

War Buakaw!!!

Looks = legit

Helwani is such an idiot. Because clearly, we would expect Anderson to be singing show tunes while lying there on a stretcher with a comminuted fracture of the tib/fib.

Buakaw is great. In Muay Thai. In MMA, he submits in one round. He has zero ground game. I will not shit on him though. He is a great champion in K-1.

I have a high pain tolerance but when I tore my knee playing football I dropped to the ground in agony and had to be helped off the field.  Never felt pain like that before.  I can't imagine what Silva felt. Must have been agonizing.

Sad way for Anderson to go out. Just like kobe. I honestly feel, that Anderson should have retired before the first bout with Chris. Same with Fedor. These guys just stay too damn long. You have that window, like wine... you hit your peak... then you start your sad decline...

Maya: No, I- I like to think about the life of wine.

Miles Raymond: Yeah.

Maya: How it's a living thing. I like to think about what was going on the year the grapes were growing; how the sun was shining; if it rained. I like to think about all the people, who tended and picked the grapes. And if it's an old wine, how many of them must be dead by now. I like how wine continues to evolve, like if I opened a bottle of wine today, it would taste different than if I'd opened it on any other day, because a bottle of wine is actually alive. And it's constantly evolving, and gaining complexity. That is, until it peaks, like your '61. And then it begins, its steady, inevitable decline.

Miles Raymond: Hmmm.

Maya: And it tastes so fucking good.

odd that the tibia and fibula both break??   the fibula is a thick strong bone, and for the most part is undamaged because the tibia takes all the impacts.   so you would think it would maintain integrity during a tibia break.

I broke 'em both at the same time when I was seven.
