I'm telling you, if you're a half decent coach and if your fighter is going to fight Jones, have him train leg kicks and defense 24/7.

I till can't fucking understand how, to this day, people can't put two and two together: Small legs/calves + hard kick = trouble. The reason is simple: the knee has bones that are twice as hard as the shin. If you hit the bottom part of the femur or the top of the tibia with the shin, you're asking for trouble, especially if you are Silva or Jones.

I'm telling you Jones is next.

You could not be more right and the indicator was what happened to his toe.

It is safe to say a man can never fight again professionally after such an injury?  That's years of pins & surgery.

Masato broke Melchor legs with Muay Thai kicks.

Masato is Japanese. NOT Thai. He destroyed Melchor Menor with brutal Muay Thai low leg kicks.

Laughing out loud at these MMA clowns training in lush air conditioned Americano gyms,

Joe Rogan pumping up their ego's screaming about "K1 level striking skills"

These goons wouldn't last a round in a Muay Thai fight against a true animal like Buakaw!

Belford has tremendous talent and athleticism but he's always been a juiced up welterweight

You think Melchor has titanium legs? Masato broke both of his legs with brutal Muay Thai low leg kicks. Watch the video of the bout.

Horrific injury.

This will require an ExFix for a week and then serious surgery, not to mention a full year, at the very least, to obtain civilian recovery.

It sucks for weidman.  In the eyes of many, both of his victories over Silva have an asterisk in front of them.

Why an asterisk? Especially the first fight.

All you heard about the first fight was how silva lost because he was clowning around and didn't take the fight seriously.  This fight it's all about the injury.

Two flukes or not... Chris is Anderson daddy. Just the way it goes. Every bird has it's falcon is a latin saying. Super Man has that green shit... Anderson has Chris. Time to hang them up no matter what. Anderson just retired. I have it on text.

They'll talk as much as they want, but the kid had Anderson beat in that first round. He had him hurt midway through with a right hook to the back of the ear that put Anderson to sleep for a few seconds.

As much as I like Anderson, the kid is the real deal and more than likely would have won at the pace he was going.

Now, I look forward to the Belfort vs Weidman fight.

Oh I agree but you know how fight journalist and nutuggers can be. I hope they give this kid his due.  It was obvious another good shot and silva would be out but then again it's silva and he could have pulled out a victory.

You wanna see elite Wrestling?

Watch the Olympics.

Great submission grappling?

Check out the ADCC championships.

Fantastic hands?

Stick to boxing

Elite level standup?

Lower weight classes in K1 or Authentic Muay Thai fights.

The UFC's current wrestler friendly rules mean that any strong wrestler with average boxing and decent submission defense are able to grind out weak ground and pound decision victories.

MMA standup is a joke more often than not. All you gotta do is land a Spinning backfist or a telegraphed head kick and Joe Rogan will cream his pants with such phrases as "Nasty striker, vicious on his feet, That guy hits HARD, K-1 Level striking" etc.

It's a circus with a bunch of jack of all trade clowns....

War Buakaw!!!

And many don't realize that Weidman's shoulder was not at full strength at the first fight and his cornerman was not there either.  He is the real deal and will come back even better for his next fight.

A WRESTLER
A BOXER
A MUAI THAI FIGHTER

pretty sure an MMA fighter will win most of those fights ....
