True, he was a little sloppy in technique here by his usual accounts.After this he went and played a perfect rendition of Eruption by Van Halen on his guitar, then ripped off the strings and did some voluntary field medic duties on stitching up the 70 men he beat up that day.

I dunno, maybe it hated black people or was a suicide bomber carafe? Maybe Soul Crusher sent it to the house as a gift? Haha, I have no idea, but it sucked. On the bright side, I got to wear awesome gauze "pants" for a month and ruin people's lives with pictures of the healing process!

It exploded because too much pressure built up.  Chances are the coffee was packed too tight and the water was boiling without proper ventilation and/or overfilled.

That looks painful.    I was on the phone to my mum one night and I heard an explosion.  My candle holder which was glass exploded.  I wasn't anywhere near it luckily but I never bought those cheap glass candle holders again.  I stick with iron candle holders now.
