The south island in new zealand is breathtakingly beautiful.  But there's too many earthquakes.  I wouldn't live in NZ, would rather live in Zurich Switzerland....same beauty, great lifestyle and no earthquakes in Zurich.

I have had my air con running for three days solid now.  I don't know the temp but it's like walking into an oven everytime I walk out of my bedroom.  I am going to be game this afternoon and go brisk walking outdoors around 5.30pm.  I can't go earlier because I will get sunstroke.

I love Queenstown also.  Lived in Melbourne for 8 years but moved back to queensland to be with family when my hubby passed away.  I like the Gold Coast but think the beaches up here are way more beautiful.

I would always choose to pee behind a bush rather than use an outback toilet.  I would never ever use an outback toilet.  I am sure there are snakes in there also.  But in homes we don't have nasty spiders in the toilets.
