Alex, do you have a home gym? Could you post a pic of it? How do you manage working out in it versus a commercial gym?
I do, I got rid of a lot of stuff when we moved to Silicon Valley last year thinking I would get newer equipment. Right now I have the bare essential, no more cables, it's next on my todo list, a pull down/row machine with another set of cables for curls and triceps.
I wasn't too crazy about gadget weights before but I love my Bowflex dumbbells with selector, basically from 10 to 90lb in 5lb increment, best $700 I've spent on equipment. Classic dumbbell alternative would mean 2000lb of shit to move around, plus the rack lol...
vs commercial, it's sometimes harder to stay focus, post between sets

, grab a snack etc. But on the other hand, it's much easier routine wise. I would do one bodypart in the morning and another one at night, which works really well. I also do a lot of compound movements, which hated doing at the gym.
