The scientists have been stuck aboard the stricken MV Akademik Schokalskiy since Christmas Day, with repeated sea rescue attempts being abandoned as icebreaking ships failed to reach them.
Now that effort has been ditched, with experts admitting the ice is just too thick. Instead the crew have built an icy helipad, with plans afoot to rescue the 74-strong team by helicopter.

Now you have less milkshake and I have more, if you where a retard and looked at only one part of the equation, your half you would conclude there is less milkshake overall, however, it's untrue, you have less is all.

Climate Change scientists , ORIGINALLY GLOBAL WARMING ALARMISTS, began decades ago by warning of second ICE AGE, THEN they claimed temperatures were rising and predicted polar ice caps would melt causing sea level to rise.

The hoax believers conveniently forget the history of what is currently called "climate change". They try to rewrite history by claiming that climate change was not borne out of the global warming movement, which was an offshoot of all the studies done on "greenhouse effect".

A fresh blast of arctic air will deliver some of the coldest weather in 20 years to the country's midsection during the second half of the weekend and into the start of this week.

This brutal cold will bring danger to millions from the northern Plains to the Midwest and down into the Tennessee Valley. Overnight lows are forecast to dip well below the zero-degree mark in these areas, even dropping to 30 below zero in parts of Minnesota and North Dakota.

With temperatures more than 30 degrees below normal, residents of these regions will have to take extra precautions to stay protected from the harsh winter cold.

I don't usually make fun of Christians - what people choose to believe is their business, and I don't get involved unless and until they seek to have a discussion on the topic of religion with me. Does this series of questions even merit an answer? Even if we are no better than "other apes" we care about our life because it's our life. It's not that we are, somehow, better. It's that we are rational beings and can (at least attempt to) do something about a potential extinction.
