was reading Quincy Taylors interview this month in MD and he said he earns $8-9000 per month. Hes a 2nd tier guy but he makes so much! What kind of contracts do the pros get these days, Ronnie said his new contract allowed him to buy a $180,000 Bentley!

I know they train people and do guest posings etc but what would an average pro make?

are you talking about income that's taxable or are you including under the table income from dealing drugs and doing gay for pay etc.?

Its possible, people are very cynical on this board about how the pros earn their money.....i dont know much about US pros but the guy who owns and runs the gym i train at is an IFBB pro by winning the UK championships a few years back and CNP/DorianYates pay him £1000 ($1750....roughly) a month for endorsing their products....he's competed in one show (British Grand Prix) and otherwise does all towards bodybuilding except run his gym.
Its not inconceivable that someone who is a well known pro could work hard, travel all over the place (including international) and make a decent living through guest posing and gym seminars even if he places poorly in shows....

I'm sure some pros drug deal and engage in muscle worship but not all.

Personal training can be very lucrative if you've got a head for business.....there are several on here who claim to make 100k from it (intenseone), whats to stop a pro from doing the same?

Like many here I am quite curious as to how much actual legit money via supplements contracts, training, seminars, guest spots and prize money, etc.

If QT is really making 9k per month - it's NOT from Bodybuilding. Ronnie is making big bucks - but he has only one or two more years left in him -- he's definitely the exception. Most BB, won’t make jack off the sport- only put in more than they get out. – money wise.

It all depends what they do with there money once they have it----- I never won a dime actually competting( except a $4000-00 watch at the NZ grand prix) but I have made myself alot of money through the sport of bodybuilding and its associated businesses, I have every thing I have because of bodybuilding, I own companys and property and this is all because I invested every dime I got, and i got where I got due to my bodybuilding.

Alot of pros have other intrests other than that of the compettion dollar, they invest in gyms , supplement companys etc, and these opertunitys arise because of their profiles as pros !!
