FACT: Cancer is a mutation of normal cells, that thrives in 1) hypoxic environment 2) acidic environment 3) a glucose fueled environment.

Avoid grains, dairy products and have a diet primarily of green vegetables and fruit would probably almost guarantee never getting cancer, diabetes or anything else for that matter.  Throw in some fish every now and then and that's really all you need.  The amount of protein we need is grossly overstated.

Also living in a rural area devoid of power plants and pollution.

Cancer is a bitch.
You can not prevent it with diet, that is just nonsense.
So what, the baby born with a meuroblastoma should have been going keto in utero?
Give me a fucking break.

Typical human behavior trying to come to terms with things they can not understand or control.

Yes, you can. This has been researched tirelessly. You CAN prevent cancer with dietary changes. Obviously this doesn't apply to all cases but it DOES work for some.

So why not? A person has nothing to lose by cleaning up their diet.

Now you are reaching; there is not scientific proof that that shows cancer can be prevented, the chances of developing some types of cancer can be reduced by avoiding bad lifestyle choices but even that isn't 100% true, some people develop lung cancer even without smoking, a lot of women can still get breast, uterine and ovarian cancer regardless of their lifestyles, the notion that cancer can be prevented through diet is nothing but pseudo science peddled by the naive and the deceitful. There are a lot of vegetarians that have caught cancer after spending their entire lives watching their diets, same with other forms of diet adherents. Truth is, we don't know enough about cancer to know what can truly prevent it, all we have is conjecture based on the little we know at the moment.

But what about the mothers lifestyle choices while the fetus was in utero? Something to be considered as well.

Ether: what's your take on PET scans that utilize The FDG glucose analogue to determine highly metabolic cancerous areas, and, how would you feel this relates to the consumption of a high carb diet?

I don't see too many oncologists discussing this issue and it seems to be of grave importance.

diabetes will lead to cancer very very often.

keep that in mind you fat fucks.

but the mechanism why and exactly how it happens isnt known, or thered be a preventive cure.

but smoking and diabetes are on top.

chiro, not sure if the cells come to be bc of glucose or just get worse when they already there bc of glucose, its not the same thing.

but to much glucose is also other wording for diabetes 2.so yah.

We KNOW, that cancer loves glucose. I doesn't appreciate ketones in the same way. We also know that most cancer cells contain insulin receptors.

Add this up and what does this lead you to believe??

Not saying there a for sure direct link but by all means there appears to be a relationship.

i thinkt he relatioship is this:

diabetes will often lead to cancr and when the diabetes melitus is there, it gets out of control.

the issue at hand is, ppl have no idea how easy it is to get diabetes 2.

a normal person who doesnt work out and eats what considered a "normal" diet ,is at very high risk.

consecutive carb meals,if one doesnt do sports, will destroy insulin sensitivity within.......days.

if one carries on, the insulin serum levels will be permanently elevated and its a foolproof way to diabetes 2.

we are agreeing here.

Many cancers do not take up fdg (example hepatocellular carcinoma - what killed Derek Anthony)
Don't know if diet can help in treating a cancer, hell it couldn't hurt
But to claim it could prevent cancer, bold faced lie

Well maybe these tyrannosaurs should lay off the heme iron and simple carbs. They would still be around today.  ::)

lots of bros thinking cutting sugar is the answer

they forget heme-iron + sugar = eventual cancer

sugar alone is good

youre going to have alot less cancer eating rice beans and potatoes /veggies
than meat and veggies
