Bobby is an old friend. We are from the old crowd in Rochester, NY. I actually knew his older brother very well (his older brother is a great guy with a bigger than life personality). I knew Bobby when he was just working security at the local high school, good guy.

Anyway, Bobby is doing fine last I checked. He did what was right for his family and followed the money to bodybuilding.com a while back (bb.com being one of our sponsors here) and then not too long ago switched over to Muscular Development.

MD has their clause whereby you can not post at other sites (forums included). It's their way of supposedly maintaining a certain level of quality control (I don't know).

Either way, he did what was right for his family in order to keep a nice steady stream of income coming in from various sources. He still logs into GetBig every day and keeps an eye out for the quality humor and industry gossip that you can only find here.

Didn't Danny Padilla live in Rochester NY? If you know him do you have any stories you can share about his training or other. I only met him once but I heard he is a really funny guy.

Thanks, one of my favorites. When I heard him talking about his 5 sets of 12 reps done quickly it struck a chord with me. I was always busting my balls with heavy weights. Here was a guy saying he got better results by not doing HIT and handling moderate weights for high reps with volume.

Bob is one of the more intelligent bodybuilders out there...I am sure he would have been a success in just about anything else he put his mind too...I am a fan of his wit and  humor...Infact, I want to fuck him, no homo...Bob, if I ever meet you at a competition, lets pretend i did not state that at the end there, thanks...Is a bro hug possible? All I can say is that Bob when I met him seemed a kind and down-to-earth person to me. It's some years ago now, and back then he looked healthy to me.

I wish him well. Everybody has to earn a living. Not every BB does that well after his competitive carreer. Bob sure has some commercial skills.
