Why are people saying ali is faster then tyson, tyson's hand speed for a heavyweight was second to none, his defense is perhaps some of the best in history. He threw with power and speed and he worked inside and with lunging hooks.

If you look at the slow motion, it seems as the dude is throwing the same combo of punches. So Ali could have figured out the order. And him being quick helped as well.

I doubt it. A few body shots from a prime Tyson would have Ali questioning his will to continue.

Are you serious? Mike Tyson was a hard puncher no doubt. But let's get real here, Ali fought several of the hardest hitters in history and won and lost. Think Joe Frazer, George Foreman, Ken Norton. All these men through very powerful blows to Ali and he survived. Tyson was not boxing histories greatest fighter....just the most overrated.

If I where a black man in those days and could pull it off I too would not fight and die for a country that would not treat me as an equal person. I say good for Ali, plus that war was fought by politicians that would not let the military do it's job. Nothing was accomplished there, pure bullying waste of lives and money.
