As most on here that know me know I am a Marine with 4 daughters. Well I they love the outdoors and learning how to survive and fight so besides hunting (squirrels and rabbits) and fishing I teach them all there is to know about firearms.
At about 9yrs old we start with high powered air rifles. Teach safety and shooting techniques.
At 11 we move to bench .22lr rifles.
At 13 handguns.
Here comes the bragging...This weekend both my daughters won a local shooting competition!
My 11yr old put all 5 .22lr rounds in a dime sized hole from 50yrds and my 14yr old put all 6 9mm rounds in a 12" circle at 75 ft (used my Kahr CW9)!!!!!
My 14yr old also placed 2nd in the AR-15 comp (100yrds / Iron sights) lost 1st place by only 2 points!!!!
Last but not least, both qualified for the Regional Archery (Long Bow) competition next month!
Sorry for the post, I know you guys don't give a shit but I had to share somewhere.
