While listening to WFAN, which is the sports talk radio station in NYC, a commercial for a WWE house show came on, and one of the matches announced was Daniel Bryan vs Bray Wyatt in a steel cage.

What's strange is that, on television, Bryan just joined the Wyatt family.

So, either the commercial gave away the storyline, Bryan turning face again, or the match is completely outside the storyline.

It's probably accurate - at least right now. Vince is known to have stories and angles planned months ahead of time. However, in recent years, he's also been known to make changes the afternoon of a show.

Yeah, they probably have the resolution of the storyline planned out, but it just seemed odd that they would be promoting a match based on events that haven't happened, yet.

Steel cage match. Usos vs Bryan & Bray. Usos win. Bray wants to punish Bryan by giving him his finishing move. Bryan resists. They face off. Punches exchanged. Bryan gets the best of it. Takes off his Wyatt outfit and reveals his regular wrestling gear. He climbs the cage and does his "Yes" chant. Crowd follows along.

While it was rushed, I must admit it was well done. I was marking out, really wanting to see Bryan beat the shit out of Wyatt.

The crowd was absolutely beserk for Bryan.

If it was my decision, I'd have Cena step back and give his face a break for a little while. Let injuries heal up while doing some other projects and PR work for he company. But, maybe keep him off of TV just for a bit, which will likely keep him fresh and make him hotter when he comes back.

Smokey Mountain is now property of WWE. I believe that was part of the deal when Cornette went to work there full time after closing down SMW around '95.

The last I heard, Cornette and Danny Davis were operating some kind of wrestling academy for trainees.
