I still think about moving to LA but trust me, you don't want to. Place is a grind, dirty city and the worst drivers in the world. Extremely expensive for so-so housing and even most of the condos have a laundry room. Parking is a nightmare. Not a good place to live if you want to save money.

I paid about $200 a month in parking tickets when I lived in koreatown and Hollywood. lol... most apt's allow you one parking space (underground), and you can rent another for a couple hundred, but I had 3 cars, so it was cheaper to pay the tickets. lol

Get a job that you can network from, its far easier to find work if you already have something to prove yourself with.

Get a place to live, a girlfriend, and a circle of friends before going too.  There's no telling what might befall you otherwise.  You could even find yourself inconvenienced.
