Good question, I thought the same thing.  He gets kidney stones and suddenly he is homeless and living in his broken car.  What is the whole story?  I have nothing against Steve (other than those damn smiley face posts, lol) I just want a clear picture of what transpired before I contribute to the Quickerblade Arce fund.
he lost the dojo long time ago to unfortunate circumstances.

if you knwo the whole story, will that change a single thing about your decision whether you donate something or not?

Some millionaire you are, by the way, we don't want your help.
We got the script for the morphine from the doctors, and his kidney is much better now.
You don't have nickels to rub together let alone a few hundred.
Go and buy yourself a scolding hot coffee and pour it over your torso for me.

Anybody else notice that if there is any question about why exactly Arce requires this money or where thebfunds are going quckerblade becomes very snide and sarcastic. Arce isn't a ten year old with leukemia. He is an adult male and supposedly a Marine. Why are Getbig members being solicited to subsidize this man's life?

I am still alive. I have been at the VA all day. Trying to make sure that I am done with the kidney stones. I am at an inter net cafe, so that I can post this.   I have been going through some very bad times since the 31st. 2014 is already horrible for me. I am not able to stop gossip, so I am sure that all of you already know.

For those that care about me, thank you. That is from the bottom of my heart and soul.  For those of you who hate me, I am sorry that you do. I wish that you would not.

I hope that all of you are having a very happy new year.

 Peace.

This is an utter embarrassment, groveling to anonymous muscle men (and ~3 chicks) over the internet for pecuniary gain -- especially given that this behavior is tied to your real name.

What kind of a "man" runs his finances into the ground such that in middle age, he must seek money from an entertainment-centric bodybuilding board for subsistence? Something is very off about that. Whether the full story ever comes to light or not, shame on you for being unable to uphold your financial obligations to your kid(s), which presumably you can't given that you can't even uphold those incurred solely on your behalf.

I suggest you purchase a generous life insurance policy with your dependent(s) as beneficiary, fill that morphine script and have an "accidental" overdose, and donate your hair to anabolichalo. This will maximize utility for said dependents in a way that you are seemingly unable to.

living in America is not as simple as you put it. Even though I don't know the details, it does not appear that Steve was reckless with his finances.

Don't let the lack of details about this situation make you guess the worst about him.

I slept in my car once. It was in April and I only did it because I was going from job to job. I didn't have to do it and I had an apartment.

I woke up in the middle of the night because I was cold. That sucked! I feel bad for everyone who has to live in a car. A van could be ok, but a car is really bad.

I can't imagine. Presently I am living in a luxury townhouse. I am reclining in an extremely comfortable $3000 king size bed with oversized pillows, sipping my morning coffee as I read of Arce's troubles. I don't feel it would be healthy for Steve if I were to donate some of this money to him. I'd only be enabling him to continue shirking his responsibilities.

you see, this is amongst the many various reasons why i find the euro system more fair and human.

can call it socialist,i dont care.

as for how this can happen at age 40+, many ppl out there are always near a cliff financialy, one or few months away from bankrupcy if unemployed, depending on financial obligations.
esp with kids, life can make a turn for bad like out of nowhere.

here the ppl are more relaxed they know, just in case, they can get unemployment service to carry on or event he dole money after that, guranteing the minimum standard.ppl know they can always reover, losing roof over head doesnt happen.(unless total loss of self control).

what the americans dont get, misuse of social services is still frowned upon.its just there "in case"

nobody going here roofless or hungry.does it cost me tax money?hell yes but dont care.ready to pay for it.,

fairness and eace come with pricetag.dont want to walk around armed bc neigor could be in dire financal straits and do some stupid crime.hell no.

and rather pay for that than excessive military spending with questionable foreign policy.

and,the nation here is still open and very good ground for capitalism enterprises.one can exist with the other, its prefect, or as good as it gets.

haha, no shit. the whole thing is fucking pathetic. especially with this unfunny "QuickerBlade" clown  trolling and enjoying himself at Arce's expense. the dude is a nobody on here but jumping on Steve's coattails to get attention.

also, and I'm sympathetic if the dude has legitimate problems, but Arce used to post here years ago with a different handle and he didn't type like a gullible, naïve, 9 year old simpleton.

something is off here and anybody that donated is an idiot doing so without knowing exactly what the deal is.

The Scandinavian systems especially are brilliant, I admire them. I like Socialism for you guys.

For me though, I want minimal government. It was nice knowing there was one last place on Earth where you could be completely independent (I realize those days are over for now in the US unfortunately, and maybe forever). Instead of handing your income over to politicians, save your money, plan ahead, and you'll be better than fine. I've seen it a million times. Your safety net is your savings, your family, community and charities.

Sometimes terribly unfortunate circumstances do occur, that's life.
