I was friends with a guy for 20 odd years and his gf, now wife, decided she didn't like me.
The dude is pretty beta, so sat back and didn't get involved and eventually it became so bad we didn't talk to each other for a couple years.
Friends with him again now, but it's not the same. Always those lingering thoughts.

A real good one, almost two.  Women make men go crazy.  My best friend fell off the face of the earth when he met this one chick, was in love, ready to marry then shit went south and he came back apologizing.  Another, well I just wrote him off.
