Diagnose dillema
« on: January 19, 2014, 02:11:24 AM »
I started yesterday to pee diluted reddish.. I also did a dark red #2  ;D

My sinuses are stuffed, my eyes burn a little like the beginning of an eye infection, I am very tired al the time.

I also ate red beets yesterday.

Is it the beets, or the kidneys?

it's too early too diagnose. stop eating the beets, if symptoms persist then you're probably dying.

Ask Swerdlow if he has had any STDs recently, then go through the hookers you hired for your pics and make sure they are clean.

You live in a third world country. It is prolly some weird parasite, or disease we cured 100 years ago. You won't recover.

Hope this helps.

The way that we are going, the USA is going to be third-world status in a decade or two. I am going to set myself up as a regional warlord.

It's the beets.  I started eating a lot of beets only to find that my urine appeared bloody.  I had a similar reaction to you, thinking that i blew a kidney out, but once i cut the beets out my urine went back to normal.

How do you like your beets?

Two things...

Beeturia - The discoloration of the urine to either red or pink color after eating beets.

Red beets are high in dietary fiber and will encourage faster digestion, which is one of the reasons you may see remnants of their bright pigment in your stool. Although the color of most foods are chemically altered by enzymes as they move through your digestive system, the pigment of beets remains largely intact. As a result, it is not uncommon to have a red tinge to your stool for one or two days after eating red beets. ~ This can be found at: http://www.livestrong.com/article/525407-beets-blood-in-the-stool/

I think it's due to the beets. If it continues for more than 2 weeks, after having not consumed beets, go see your primary care physician. A stool guaiac test and a urinalysis will tell them immediately if you have real blood in your urine and stool.

Try using a mandolin to julienne the beets, then serve them as a salad, raw, with lemon juice, olive oil, and salt.  Very tasty

I rarely eat them. I visited my parents yesterday, mom had a couple of them ready so I gave it a try.

My food is very simple and to the point. I never chase taste.
