I'm really enjoying all the whining and excuse making by Bill Belichick and now by Patriots fans. It's so amazing.

Funny too because the Pats were the team that was actually caught cheating. Caught red handed. Now that they are no longer allowed to cheat, they have won zero Superbowls. Coincidence?

Yeah but they are still competitive and arguably should have won the last 2, how many teams can say that?

If the Broncos win it would be nice for him to go out on top. However, he's really close to breaking the all time TD pass and passing yards records. He might want to come back for one more year to get those. He's going to get his neck evaluated after the SB and that result will play a role too.

I see and hear clueless angry Pats haters say this stuff all the time and it makes them look dumb. New England has been the most dominant team in the NFL for the last 13 years and a video camera on the sideline had nothing to do with it. Since spy gate the pats have gone to two superbowls and two additional AFC championship games. They also went 16-0 one of those seasons -- a feat no team has ever accomplished. It's funny that people say they haven't won the superbowl in nine years as if winning the superbowl is so easy. It's actually a testament to just how dominant that organization is under the Brady/Belichick/Kraft regime.

NE wasn't even in the Super Bowl last year, how can you claim they "arguably should have won it"

If a better team loses because of a bad call, unlucky bounce, freak injury, etc.

All that stuff is part of the game and both teams are equally susceptible, but I can see where people are coming from with that argument
