I get annoyed when people just stand or sit there and talk... for hours... like homos!
I really hate that......your trying to do a superset or start your new excercise and your not sure if they are on it cuz they 're talking or talking and blocking your way!

I had a dude ask me to spot him on a bench press lift of 405.  The best part was this dude asks these 2 other guys to stand by on each side in case of any problems.  I should have realized this was a BAD idea to even be a part of this crap.  Well lets just say that I should have but a belt on since that was the heaviest row I ever did in my life!  I should have kick that dudes ass for that shit!
PS-  I bet his chest hurt pretty good from the bar dropping into his chest that hard!  LOL  :D

You're lucky that kid didn't bitchslap you silly for letting the bar drop on his chest.  That's what a spotter is there to prevent.....

It is hard to find a competent spotter who knows what they're doing.  A spotter should always have the the strength to take over if there something goes wrong.

thats my point guys!  Who the HELL though I needed to be able to do a 200lb row of the 405lbs bench?  You ask someone to spot you to ASSIST you- not for them to chalk up, but a belt on, and do the lift!  The dude should never have been doing that much weight.  But he looked real bad a$$ with the 405 on the bar.

It's called "common sense", Piscit....

If you don't think you could lift the weight if he lost it, then you shouldn't have spotted him.  Simple as that.  I don't he would ask you to spot him if he didn't think he had a realistic chance of lifting it.  That means either you spot him or decline.

You should have declined.

1. Sitting on the Nautilus machines, and not exercising.
2. Exercising in the sauna/steam room.
3. Shadowboxing in non-boxing gyms.
4. Head-stands in non-yoga gyms.
5. Incessant talking or ß!+©#!|\|&.
6. Using the sauna heater like a urinal.
7. Talking on cell phones for extended periods of time.
8. Spending the whole day at the gym.
9. Hanging out by the pool, and staring at me with mean faces.
10. Doing anything in the pool but swimming.
11. Showing off encyclopedias of tattoos.
12. Kids making loud noises.
13. Wearing du rags.
14. Men & boys wearing long hair/earrings/both.
15. Getting up and carrying a chair as if they were glued to the seat.
16. Sagging pants/shorts.
17. Wearing sunglasses indoors/after dark.
18. Wearing shorts outdoors in cold weather.
19. Leaving the toilet unflushed.
20. Leaving the water running.
21. ƒ@®+!|\|&.
22. Bouncing basketballs anywhere but the court floor.
23. Sporting dumb or passé haircuts.
24. Wearing rubber/plastic suits or heavy clothing in the sauna/steam room to "sweat off pounds."
25. Letting their "flesh aprons" hang out.
26. Freaking out at me when i'm in the locker room.
27. Two guys seemingly always being together.

Its a coin toss between the Rack Molester( the guy training 2 inches from the rack and in everyones way)  And Mr. Consistency, the guy who shows up every day, in the way, always there, day after day, actually year after year.......The crazy thing is, it looks like hes never lifted a weight in his whole life.. You would never guess in a million years he works out, yikes!  and every gym has about 25 guys just like that.

people who spend a hour on one particular piece of equipment...
these are the same people. who ask.. how do u get ur arms like that or chest or back  etc etc.. you tell them heavy free weight movements...aka known as movents that are hard so people dont do them ie deadlifts... rows... freewieght curls. yet next workout.. they go straight back to doin silly things they have seen in magazines like... lying cable curls.... not realising that those movements are isolation and shaping movements.. and that you actually have to build the mass before incorporating these movements... to shape the mass..

I saw what I assumed to be a 20-year old, 180 pound powerlifter, shopping at Best Buy today.  He was wearing an extremely short Inzer singlet, white t-shirt underneath, and converse tennis shoes.  Browsing through the rap CDs.
