If you think that either are on roids, then your credibility as a trainer is just gone at this point.  Why do I say this?  Because you are in fact admitting that all of your training methods and all of your workouts are unable to get anyone to the level of these two guys.  So in effect, you are just telling us all how worthless your methods are if you cannot even get a single person to these guys level.

You just told on yourself and did not even realize it.

In my experience it takes enormous strength to do side laterals with good form (full ROM no swinging faggotry and actually hitting the lateral delt primarily) with more than 20 or perhaps 25 lb DBs.

That is not to say you can't get good gains from doing bigger weight with shit form though.
