1. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – Net Worth: $70 million

Whether you see him as The Rock, the pro wrestler, or Dwayne Johnson the Hollywood mega-star, this man is perhaps the most recognizable face in the history of professional wrestling. The Rock’s popularity has not dwindled after stepping away from the business that made him famous in 2004. In fact, according to his box office numbers for 2013, he may be more popular than ever.

Dwayne Johnson grossed $1.2 billion in 2013 according to Forbes, topping any actor. His top roles included ‘Fast 6′, ‘G.I Joe’ and ‘Pain and Gain’. Oh, and he also headlined WrestleMania 29 against John Cena, which sold over 1 million pay-per-views.

The Rock has said that there was a time when he was 24 years old, having just been cut by the Calgary Stampeders practice squad of the CFL, that he had just seven dollars in his pocket. Those days are long gone. He’s 41 now and will continue to earn millions for the foreseeable future. He has the looks, talent and persona to be a major box office star for a long time, just as he was in wrestling.

The Rock debuted for the WWE in 1996 and by the time he retired in 2004, he had accomplished everything one could possibly accomplish in wrestling in a span of just eight years. He won every title multiple times, including seven runs as WWE champion. He had the most catchphrases of any wrestler, cut the most entertaining promos, sold tons of merchandise, and was just everything you could want in a superstar.

After seven years, he returned to the WWE on a part-time basis in 2011. He hosted WrestleMania 27, and headlined WrestleManias 28 and 29 against Cena. He even won his eighth WWE championship against CM Punk at the 2013 Royal Rumble. After dropping the title to Cena, Johnson had fulfilled all contractual obligations to the WWE and is back on the silver screen. We will probably see him back in the ring some day, but in the meantime, he’s keeping his schedule and his wallet full. There’s just not enough space to list all of Dwayne Johnson’s accolades.

The door has been opened for wrestlers to make money outside of the industry if they are big enough stars to do so. Many have gone on to earn movie roles and these numbers show that professional wrestling, while not at the level of popularity it once was, is still beloved by many.

Hulk Hogan's net worth is $5 million dollars, or at least it was before his divorce was finalized! Hulk, real name Terry Bollea, made his money from his days as a wrestler in the WWE. Hulk also invested his money in several businesses and real estate. Hogan still earns money from merchandise sales and residuals with his brand, Hulk Hogan. When Hulk and ex-wife Linda Hogan divorced, he was forced to pay her 70% of the couple's assets which amounted to roughly $30 million in cash, property and cars.

Rick Flair has a net worth of $5 million dollars. A professional wrestler since 1972, Ric Flair has been a World Heavyweight Champion 16 times, was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2008, and wrestles for "Total Nonstop Action Wrestling". Born Richard Morgan Fliehr on February 25, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, he is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the history of the sport with a professional career that spans more than four decades. The wrestler, who is best known to the general public by his ring name Ric Flair or his nickname The Nature Boy, first got acquainted with the wrestling business when he met the legendary Vachon brothers. At the time a medical student at Minnesota University, he dropped out of college to train for the mat. It was on December 10, 1972, when Flair made his professional debut in the wrestling ring opposite "Scrap Iron" George Gadaski. The first several months of his career, he had spent with Gagne's Minneapolis Boxing & Wrestling Club and then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to became a regular for Jim Crockett Promotions. In 1981, he captured his first NWA World title, and he has since enjoyed a winning wrestling career.

Top 10 Most Successful WWE Divas

10) Sable (Rena Marlette Lesnar) – Net Worth: $1.5 million
9. Nikki Bella – Net Worth: $1.5 million
8. Brie Bella – Net Worth: $1.7 million
7. Natalya – Net Worth: $2.2 million
6. AJ Lee – Net Worth: $2.3 million
5. Lita – Net Worth: $2.5 million
4. Trish Stratus – Net Worth: $3 million

2. Stacy Keibler – Net Worth: $4.5 million

The classic, all-American blonde bombshell, Torrie Wilson has reached heights far beyond the professional wrestling world. It started before her wrestling career even began as she won Miss Galaxy 1998. Her wrestling career started the year after and never seemed to be far removed from her close friend Stacy Keibler. In 2001, they both jumped ship to the WWE together.

In 2003 Wilson was on the cover of Playboy magazine, alongside Sable in the March 2004 edition. Typically, she was used in bikini contests, lingerie pillow fights and anything else the WWE was able to come up with to capitalize on her looks. She was also featured in FHM magazine, voted number 43 on FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World list in 2007. Wilson has also been on AskMen.com’s list of the Most Desirable Women in the World twice: she was number twenty-two in 2006 and number sixty-five in 2007.

Since her WWE release in 2008, Wilson has continued to enjoy a successful modelling career. She has been dating Yankees third-baseman Alex Rodriguez since December 2011.

Flair is flat broke, Hogan has lost most of his remaining fortune through his divore but has to have blown an awful lot. He was apparently guaranteed $4 - 12 million per year and as much as $600,000 per PPV in WCW plus up to 25% gross. He has earned WAY over $100 million in salary and residuals from merch etc, so where the hell has it all gone?!

Well, you can't take it with you.  In any event, he has a lifetime contract with WWE or something so he'll always be taken care of
