Yes, it is a REAL dog --- and knows tricks. As for entertainment purposes, there was no animal cruelty involved in the oohing and watching of the dog.
Thanks for confirming it, Ron. The problem, apart from that idiotic 'dog suit', is that we don't see the whole picture, like the traveling, the noise, the attention, the flashing camera & stage lights, etc. I believe this can't be healthy, imagine his stress levels
