my dad has the 2013...it now has has long tube headers, blower pulley, x-pipe, cat back, CAI, and i tuned it....for a stock car its impressive as hell...never driven anything close to that without some decent wrench time..

bro, i had a 97 supra until less than a year ago...there is no comparison at all between the 2...i have built, raced, and driven a lot of things over the years..and this is one of the more impressive things ive driven...i had a whole lot more than $1200 into my supra. the RWHP was higher than the cobra...but the cobra still had more torque and all the cobras power was in a usuable RPM range...unlike any supra lol

thats always been the long running supra joke..whats the diferrence between a 600hp, and a 1000hp supra? nothing! and thats because none of the 1000hp supras power is good in a usuable rpm range...dyno queen..

that being said i really like the supra..from the body design down to the engine..just a cool little car..probably build a new one in the next couple of years

supras are dyno queenz, plain and simple. There are literally dozens of 1000hp supras running around and about 2 can put down a decent time, plus they always want to roll race because theyre fags and their cars cant get moving unless theyre already going 60.

I know, everytime I ran I to a 1000hp sypra guy in houston, I always said 'nice car, pity it'll mever outrun a car with half its power'

I alwayd got a prompt 'fuck you', followed by a 'lets race from 60 then well see who wins'

at which point I laugh and call them a vagina for building a car that cant do anything, cant drag race, cant road race, cant circle track race... can only go 60-160. Lol.

My neighbor owns a 2014 GT500. I have driven it and raced it with my 01 Vette. The Mustang just feels heavy.

Your Z06 should handle better than the GT500. It's better balanced and ~600 lbs lighter.

There's no replacement for displacement when it comes to engines.
