What is the appropriate amount of time for HOF induction.
« on: February 02, 2014, 02:02:47 PM »
My brother and I have the conversation all the time about what is the appropriate amount of time after a wrestler is done wrestling to put them in the HOF.

I'm very much against putting guys in while they're still working. I'm also against putting guys in after they've only been retired a couple of years.

What do you guys think?

If referring to the WWE HOF, I don't think it matters.

If referring to Tragos/Thesz HOF, I agree with you.

What I don't get is there is no place to celebrate their legacy...
a museum or some type building where you go look at it as a exhibit
. you would think with the amount money the wwe has they
would have something already..

They've discussed it on and off for the last several years.

His Fed HOF speech?
Yes.

I'd love to know how much time he put into that. It was truly some of his best material. He also was very entertaining at one of the following year's HOF ceremony in which he inducted, I think, Paul Orndorff.

I wonder if Heenan ever considered writing for TV. I don't even mean wrestling, but dialogue for sitcoms, etc. He mentioned an interest in doing some voice work in television and radio spots, but that was before he became sick.

Heenan quote..."I managed Harley Race once...tough guy...great guy...when WWE called and said come to the HOF, I didn't know if we were gonna be inducted or indicted."

Off topic...I also can confirm Bray Wyatt rights his own promos with Vince of course having the final say.
Also...Stepanie McMahon is trying to get another big star to sign a HOF deal....STING. No serious talks though.

I wonder if bookies will start taking bets on how long WWE will continue these rumors.
