I the most ripped I ever got I did zero cardio.
But I was walking around a whole bunch during the day so my TDEE is higher.
Problem with strenuous Cardio for fat loss is that you body will be looking to compensate for those calories burnt somewhere down the line and its very hard/almost impossible not to crack sooner or later.
Also the cortisol just makes your already depressed metabolism from the dieting even worse.
Now with pure dieting, very low calories and low carbs combined with short weight training sessions, heavy but low reps, that's a good recipe for getting ripped.
But is fucking boring miserable existence if you actually like and enjoy cardio and doing functional stuff and sports but yeah you look good but still won't be able to get your dick up (if you are natty) so its kinda of just for pure show.
