good vid, i still remember back in 93 walkin into fitness 2000 in jersey n seeing yates on the cover of flex magazine n i was thinkin this has to b photo shopped cause he looked to damn freaky. early to mid 90,s were great yrs

YEAH,,,HE WALKED THROUGH A FULL LOBBY IN 92 MR SUBURBAN NJ SHOW AND LOOKED LIKE LIKE HE STRETCHED LEATHER JACKET HE HAD ON TO FIT AROUND TO COWS ..

BTFO videos are the only bodybuilding film worth watching in my opinion.... no bodybuilder can really carry 60-90 minutes, the 15 minute segments for each is the perfect setup

i remember seeing him at the suburban in 93 or 94 guest posing with flex wheeler n he also came to diamond gym n trained, pics didnt do the man justice when it came to pure freaky muscle. it was the yr when we had that huge snow storm njflex, i think we got like 3 ft or something right?

In Flex Wheelers book, Flex said that he & Dorian were trapped at the hotel for a long time. Blizzard conditions. Sounded like they were sharing the same room (cheap ass show promotor). Flex said that Dorian was very cool.

i remember john kemper who was the promoter offered to let yates n flex stay at his house but they said no, im not sure why but i do remember he offered. kemper ran great shows(rip)

Was Kemper a normal guy? Or was he a bodybuilder "groupie" type?

he loved bodybuilding n i remember times at his gym guys didnt have the money to pay there monthly dues n he would let them train n give them time to pay,he was really cool like that. i think he produced more pros outta his gym than anyother gym on east coast, that gym was/is the best imo as far as motivation,equipment,making connections ect. i guess he was a bodybuiding groupie in a sense since he was a pretty awesome bodybuilder back in his day

JOHN KEMPER HAD GREAT PROPORTION BUILD WISE,ARMS WERE TOP NOTCH,HE LIVED GOOD LIFE A BIT 'WEIRD' TO THE NORM BUT HE STOOD OUT AT JERSEY SHOWS HE WAS HEAD CHAIRMAN .HE HAD MORANT,DUCASSE,TONY ALICEA RIP,WHITSETT RIP,ARNTZ,BEAU MATLOCK,TO NAME A FEW..
