Reading the comments under the article you can see most empathize with this boy.

The world is no longer tolerating bullying.

If these two teenage girls would have been two teenage boys this never would have even made the news and he would be serving no jail time.

There is a difference between the bullshit that happens between children on the playground every day, compared to the bullying where people are being terrorized in school, as well as people making whole facebook posts dedicated to the denigration of one individual.

I can guarantee you if it was your kid whose face was plastered on a FB page where thousands of kids were denigrating him or her, you'd be up at the school in a moment. Any parent on this forum would be. And if you would sit idly by and watch your kid get humiliated, then I would consider you a shitty parent.
