Ask yourself rather why humans make the same mistakes over and over and over and over and over again. Ask yourself how many children went without homes when the foreclosures inevitably comes knocking around. I paid $215k up front and spent about few hundred on remodeling. I'll pay it totally off in 11 months. Those guys are nuts if they think I didn't think this through.

I was a Universal Service Rep.  Answered technical questions, explained billing statements, and handled collections for deliquent accounts.  I didn't get another job because they are owned by Verizon and most of their jobs are in India.  I still own a lot of stock


5. To be fair though, you could probably buy a condo in Florida for the same price as a mobile home. Mobile homes do not appreciate in value.
