negatives

hey mates,
ever since i saw some videos of the great dorean yates talking about form and technique, I have been trying my best to adhere to his philosophy. I to bite the bullet and lower my weight on everything so that I can really focus on the negatives of the reps. It was tough because I am know in my gym and in my neighborhood as a pretty strong dude. I was repping 405 on the bench for 4-6 but i was just bouncing the heck out of it, now that i look at in retrospect. now that my form is better, i have been using 365 for the same number of reps. i believe that these reps at a lower weight are way more valuable for my muscles.

any thoughts?
