you should be considering taking less drugs, and making your health a priority over bodybuilding.

Can I not strike a balance?

Fair enough.  Maybe I'll make every other cruise 8 weeks instead of 4 and see how that looks.  I try to time it with my HRT bloodwork so my test is safely in range when they draw.

Bro, it's stupid to just do nothing about your hypertension. You realize you are fucking yourself right?

If you refuse to reduce supplement use or other lifestyle modification to get under 80 diastolic then at least get on some Lisinopril.

Some food for thought...

This is what I currently do:

Basically a paleo diet with added sweet potatoes and rice at various meals to up my carb intake.

Health supps: multi, apple cider vinegar, fish oils (diet needs to be HIGH in omega 3's), superfood powder goes in my morning shake, also drink about 8oz a day of cranberry juice concentrate, the expensive stuff that is sold in bottles and is sour as fuck. This isn't for my kidneys, it's for my LIVER (stole this from John Meadows.)

Cardio daily

Stay lean/light as possible while sticking to your goals

Bloodwork every few months. Blood pressure checks 1-2x a week.

Healthy as a horse  8)

Do you do anything specific with the apple cider vinegar?

Mix A few TBSP in water and drink a few times a day. If I'm short on time I just take a few pulls straight from the bottle. I actually like the taste, Esp if I've been dieting (I know, weird.)

ACV is amazing for you.

Make sure to use raw ACV though, such as Bragg's

Oh and I'll make my own homemade Kombucha with ACV too. Super easy cheap and delicious.

Would the cardio even matter if I added in more calories to cancel it out?  I really want to grow.

Yes, absolutely.  It's not for losing fat, but for exercising your cardiovascular system.  You train all the other muscles , right?  So why neglect your heart muscle?

It'll do a lot for your health.... maybe the most important thing you could do

Sounds good, I love ACV but didn't really realize it was so good for you.

Is the bloodwork a juicer thing, or should everyone be doing that?

My opinion: every juicer, no matter what, a few times a year.

But also good if your an actual bidybuilder, natty or not. By this I mean you're pounding the supps and high protein. BW is cheap, and the information you get is invaluable. I would say once a year or so if you're natty and competing.

Yes ACV is phenomenal for you. As your body metabolizes it and it goes through the Kreb's cycle it converts into massive alkalinizing metabolites. This is only one benefit. It has a ton of great health benefits.

Cool....this is what I was looking for.   My diet could be better (I'll usually eat a dirty meal every few days...especially since my gains have stalled out).  The rest of the time it's pretty straight though.  I aim for 450g protein, 800g of carbs, and let the fats come from my beef, eggs, and the butter and coconut oil I cook with.  BTW, I'm 312 at the moment so I know it sounds like a lot but I'm thinking I need more to get things moving again.  My carbs are all rice, oats, potatoes, fruits, and dextrose/maltodextein around training.

I can easily add in the supps you recommend and if the blood pressure doesn't come down then I'll talk with my doc about it next month when I go for bloods.

Still not sure about the cardio...yes, im holding some heavy bloat and extra fat right now, but I don't want to sacrifice gains.  I'll be heavy on cardio from September on when I prep, but right now it seems like taking a step back.

Would love to be your apple cider vinegar.

On a more serious not, should you only take the liquid?  What about pills?  And can it be mixed with your protein shake?  Bump for more health benefits of acv.

Bump for more health benefits of acv.

People claim it does a million things.   I find it helps my digestion, if i have a cold it clears sinuses a bit, boosts energy a bit.  Peppers give similar benefits.

Because "naturally" my test levels were at 47.

And because I love my juice!

Also, do take all these in the a.m. or throughout the day?

And what about donating blood?  I read thats important if you stay on all the time.
