oh brother.
jump of your soap box.
I prefer to not have to deal with tattoo faced gangsters, getting hit up for change constantly, seeing domestic violence situations unfold in front of me at vons etc. all of these things happen on a regular basis in just about every area of los angeles.
I dont think that im better than anyone fundamentally, but I dont like dealing with that shit, I grew up in rough areas, I made something of myself, and now I like to enjoy being surrounded by classier people.
Im not sorry and I dont retract my statement even in the slightest, I dont like being around fucking savages (and yes that includes of any color creed etc. so lets not go there thx)
You are still around savages... Money has a way of hiding the drug abuse, and domestic violence.
The heroin addicted kids that the rich send to rehab...etc. You go to the store with them, they are behind you while you are driving, in front of you. Or some maybe serving you your food at a nice restaurant.
This nation has become an illusion...
I'm not saying that OC is not bad, nor that there are not nice places. It's that it sounded elitist...
And the fact that California seems to be spiraling downward, that little big of heaven you have, that pie in the sky, may in the future go the same way as LA as more of the people that you despise start to creep outwards.
And by the way, you said that you grew up in rough areas, the "classier" folk that you associate with or surround yourself with may think "oh Gawd, he's one of
them."
You can't buy class, it comes for within...also pride comes before the fall.
