4 out of 5. Not bad. I knew the McDonald vs Damian Maia was a tough one to pick. Normally I would have picked Rory, but after his last dismal performance, I had niggling doubts. And Maia is one of those guys who you just never know, brilliant BJJ but pretty mediocre everywhere else. He dominated the fist round on the ground but then got beaten up on the feet for the last two rounds.
Cummins never had a chance but seized an opportunity to get INTO the UFC, good for him, but will need easier competition to increase his overall ability.
And Sara McMann shouldn't be a fighter, she has the spirit of a coward, she can fight, but she can't take damage. The first hint of pain and she is useless. Even before the fight she was talking all nice about Ronda and how she thought Ronda was misunderstood and how people shouldn't HATE on her. She came across as pathetic, it's a FIGHT, not a LOVE IN. The women's division is a JOKE and shouldn't be headlining cards. The whole division is being carried by one woman. Womens fighting will eventually die out due to a shallow pool of talent, there just isn't enough women who want to fight to be able to create a deep enough pool of talent.
