Describe your experience at the Arnold Classic

I'm thinking about attending the Arnold Classic this year. I have family in Ohio and plan to spend a week up there this march.  Is the show worth a full day?  Is it generally boring? Entertaining? Are all the pro BBing personalities there?   Does parking/driving/hotels suck?  Thanks!

How is lighting/seating? Is the place comfortable or crowded and stuffy?  Crowd- pleasant gym-types, or schmoe city? 

Also, which getbiggers will be joining me at taco bell for lunch?

The expo gets really packed, really, realy dense crowd at the peak hours.
Everyone who was/is anybody and then some come out for the ASC.

Whole lot of fun,x-po is packed but its great,lots of free supplements and hot chicks.the show is the most professional and entertaining bodybuilding show out there.Then after wards you hit the clubs and party with the pros and fitness chicks.definitely worth going.

oh yeah  it's quite gay and very crowded lots of people intentionally rubbing into you. ...it's really cold outside and gray yet everbodys inside walking around in thongs, spandex, tight too small t-shirts and daisy dukes.  the town is ugly.  i couldnt wait to leave.  sorry dude i dont it junk food i just use the grease in my fuel tank.

ps  columbus ohio aint far from west virginia

A lot of fun, prejudging should really be seen.

I never eat crap like Taco Bell. Feel free to look me up at the expo, I'll be looking at all the fitness chicks. :)

The expo is fantastic, there are so many hot broads it's amazing.  The clubs are pretty good, I usually take in some of the local nudie bar action while I'm there as well.  There are some pretty good restuarants in Columbus as well.

It's FANTASTIC! It gets VERY crowded though. You gotta be careful which aisle you walk down 'cause it can get so packed you can't move.  :-\
When Arnold walks the expo floor, plan your move just right an you too may shake the hands of Arnold and Sly (if he's there again)  ;D

I enjoy participating in the contest but after recieving 2nd for the last Six years , I think this will be the year I win it all!!!!   Too bad my boy C- Tight ..as i like to call him , wont be around .. oh well ... last show i did , i went Macerena, im probably going to pursue the Hokey pokie or the Humpty Dance...well see

Things are closer by so it's east to get around either by shuttle bus or taxi. Taxi is best and not that expensive since everyting is so close. Tickets can be easily gotten by scalpers at the show. Prejudging was not that crowded last year. The expo get on my nerves. WAAAAAY too many people. IF y ou don't mind the crowd you will like it.

Yes, parking and driving suck.  Use the shuttles or a taxi.  The expo and the show are in two differnt places - not walkable.  There's plenty to see beyond just the pros at the booths.  Those under contract are scheduled to work the booths, but I don't think that schedule is published anywhere.   When Arnold comes through, it gets crazy and you can't move.  Last year I had to accuse him of stalking me  ;) cuz he was everywhere I went ~ literally ~ 6 times I "ran into" him (or should I say, he ran into me).

Tons of attractive women in skimpy clothes there. Great plus if you're a guy ;)
The expo is beyond packed. You can barely move.
You can get plenty of samples if that's your thing.
The show itself is always excellent, very well run.
Everyone whose anyone in BB will be there.
'People watching' is always interesting - you see it all at the ASC. Plenty of weirdos around.
Tons of events. It's impossible to see it all.

haha... I NEVER fly... too much left to chance... and my first trip out of the state in 3 years happened to fall in the same 2-week period.   So maybe the road trip will head there.

           I was at the expo this year as always, I live in Columbus.   I usually get free tickets to pre-judging and finals , but not this year. The expo was cool, always lots of women and freaks to look at.
          Jennifer " the Beast" was training at the gym I go to, World's Gym in Worthington tonight. She was very nice when I went to say hello. She said she met Alex23 and FlexingtonSteele.


          I will go again on Sunday, as closing time on Sunday is when you can get the best deals on what's left in supplements. As most people would rather sell stuff than pack it up and take it home.
