Where did you get your alias from? And is there a story to it?

Well for me I obviously got it from the bad ass character in Popeye

Mine is my nick name , it was given to me years ago, when I used to attempt to lift as much weight as I could and do silly things like 40 sets of squats and throw up after wards , and when I followed my diet and training schedules to the letter with out fault no matter what temptations were given to me !!

People just started calling me Big D so it just stuck with me. Actually, my street name was D-Smooth but when I starteed lifting I guess I grew out of that name in people's eye's.

People give you your nick name, you can't give yourself one because, I guess it's all about how they see you, not how you see yourself $:-\$ .

I got mine from the 8 ft Robot from the classic 1950s sci fi "The Day Earth Stood Still". It was only later I found out the Robot's correct name was actually "Gort".
