I've thought about this.  I'm hoping there's a financial angle to all it.  It's not out of the realm of possibility.   Was in Venice a few months ago, and it seems there was a marijuana related business on every other corner.

He is originally from Arkansas, if I remember correctly, and moved to LA. Who knows, to reinvent himself...and then after awhile, a man with a poor self identity went loco. That would be my guess.

He makes his money as a promoter for a smaller rap label and weed guy now, and was a rap roadie for most of his adult life. So I think it's a case of him genuinely enjoying that lifestyle, and having to have a gimmick to move product. Plus just being high tons of the time. He's found his niche, and he ain't leavin.
