No offense, but Federov aside, your examples are really stupid. Badell was top 3 twice and beat Ronny in the challenge round. Won a couple other shows and had additional top 6 and top 10 Olympia finishes. Wolf barely wider than Heath? What the fuck are you smoking. One of, if not the widest bodybuilder ever. Runner up at the Arnold twice top 3 at the O and climbing. Now go away.

"His waste is too narrow" Haha, OMFG
Yes, bodybuilding is subjective,And personally I don't find the hyper narrow physiques of some of the 'athletes' like Darrem Charles to be Appealing. In my opinion there is such thing as a waist that is too narrow - and the point at which it is too narrow is when the overall body looks structurally weak.Wolf falls into this category IMO -And judging by the number of Sandows won by Coleman -The judges share my aesthetic criteria to some degree.
I could see the argumement for this guy, but not Dennis Wolf

That's the problem with bodybuilding - there is no established criteria of what makes a winning physique. To my knowledge the IFBB hasn't established standards anyway - though I could be wrong. If the waist is blocky to the point of being ugly and un-bodybuilder like - it should be penalized. If it is narrow to the point that it doesn't project power and stability it should also be penalized IMO.Due to the lack of criteria, most Bodybuilders just get bigger and bigger until they go full on Palumbo, compete a few more years until their receptors stop responding, then retire penniless. It has no appeal anymore except to a fringe.
Nobody penalizes a narrow waist except for guys with shitty genetics like YOU probably have. Dumb ass
I said it was my opinion fuck face, by virtue of it being my opinion - your claim that 'nobody penalizes a small waist" is already proven wrong. So who is the dumbass, dumbass?A man with a moderate waist has more core strength and power. A man with a tiny twink waist was never meant to hold a tremendous amount of muscle and thus isn't a good example of an ideal bodybuilder in my opinion. A man with a very large waist cannot be aesthetic either. These are my opinions. This is what I would call ideal proportions (except biceps)
I agree: A waist can be too narrow and slim. A truly strong man must display a reasonably thick waist. A bodybuilder should not have a distended gut, but if it's a wasp waist, it makes the competitor look weak and frail, as said.
They have a rule book...that none of us have seen.Apparently it's written on magical paper, because the rules constantly change.
