So i got to check out the 2014 Arnold Classic National Pole Fitness Championships, and it was pretty cool (pics will be on Bodybuilding.com soon)

Well, first of all, some of these moves that these competitors do are just incredible. Unreal arm strength, and movements that I don't think most of us ever dreamed of doing. They have some poles at the expo, and if some of you want to try it out, good luck.

Here is my favorite pic from the evening, in which this competitor went around the pole about 10 feet up just holding it with her ankles and back.

The lighting here isn't the best. We could use a larger photo as well. These gals are amazing with the feats they do.

Nothing but respect for what these ladies can do......it's an amazing feat of athletic ability. However all I care about is the physique classes at the Arnold. Not really into the other events.

Truth be told, not a whole lot of dignity to be found at bodybuilding event.

Viewed in a vacuum, you definitely have a point, but at a contest where male participants are judged on the dryness of their glutes, this can only ADD dignity

A lot more stage shots, and yes, it was dark there, with the lights not as bright. But these competitors are not like what many of us thought. This is a lot tougher than it looks. Just try holding yourself sideways for a second or two.
