I agree all the way. My vintage seamaster is prob worth less than a grand and I wear it a ton more than my panerai

with hindsight the omega I wouldn't swap. the other two are lovely but i have no real attachment to them. keeping them as an easy tax free way of whoever gets it gets it when i shuffle!

I wear a Citizen similar to this. I think I paid about $200 for it. It might be bland but I like the understated appearance.

Most people try to buy flashy, gawdy looking watches to try to make up for the fact that they cannot afford a classy, expensive watch like a Rolex.

So they buy these watches to make it look like they have a lot of money.

I mean, why would you want to be such an extravagant, gawdy looking watch? Looks tacky. $:-\$ $:-\$

Perhaps, but not to the extent to some other watches. Some of these watches are just over the top in terms of appearance.
