Really - what the fuck is with people that get all bent out of shape over a bit of animal cruelty (which this isn't)?

The way I see it - I'm happy for a half dead chicken to have it's head cut off or for a pig/goat to have it's throat cut - all in the name of food.

I cannot therefore be so hypocritical as to give 2 fucks what happens to dogs, cats, seals or other creatures that are considered "cuddly".

its wrong because the dog is used as an extension of the owners personality, they already take such a dog because its masculine in their eyes in the first place.

do they still  tattoo dogs in usa? Here in sweden they implant a  microship in them, we stopped with tattoing them 15 years ago or so

Do you realize that the pain doesn't stop when the tattoo is done? The skin has a gazillion tiny holes in it and it takes couple of weeks to heal. So yah, the dog definitely hurt for a while after the sedation.
