Not sure really how to feel about it since the guy making the video is in fact exploiting the homeless man for more than 1000 dollars in his pocket which he will get view adsense through google. It would have been better to just do it and not tell anyone.

Pretty shitty in my opinion overall.

The video made it to CNN. He's already started a fundraiser for the gentleman with a goal of $15k. Last time they showed it, they were half way there. In addition, you can't put numbers on the emotional feelings people will feel from viewing this. All in all worth it.

Worth it if you enjoy being taken for a ride. Why would it take a video of this ilk to all of a sudden to start helping out this black guy? What is different?

He did this to make money, more than the 1000 dollars. Exploitation of the homeless by Youtubers is an easy way to make a lot of money on Youtube and is quite popular. Look it up.

The worse thing you can do to a homeless man is give him money.

Buy him food.

Problem is he will 9 times out of 10 get mad if you offer to buy him food instead of give him money.
