I want a camera to take pics of myself to document my progress, but I don't want to spend much money since I'll only be using it to do that.

haha. Well I see girls bringing cameras with them when they go out all the time, but it's not a guy thing to take a camera with them.

is it cheaper,,if so,,it would be a steal...its a pretty decent camera. Not what the pro's use but it does the job and when you transfer the pictures to a computer,,,they look real clear and good.

Since your just looking for a cheap P&S I would recommend a Canon SD300, SD200 something like that.

HP has some pretty decent ones for $150. 

Not good for long distance high quality photography, but just for taking regular progress, holiday, etc pics, they work great.
