There were two stolen passports on that plane. Where was Interpol?
They only have the ability to 'flag' a passport if it's specifically asked for. Otherwise it's just another stolen thing in a 3rd world shithole . I've traveled with a passport a year out of date. 95% of the time I travel my passport don't get scanned or properly inspected. When I went to Greece towards the end of last year the immigration officer never even checked my Bio Page. I could've used my grandma's passport for all they knew.
But I don't think the stolen passport's prove anything per se, loads of scum travel to Europe on stolen passports to work or sit on a heap claiming free shit. Usually to sit on a heap claiming free shit. Work, not so much. Another problem is that poorer EU states' corruption would make Robert Mugagbe appear like a saint. It's easier to get a Portuguese or Italian passport than it is to buy bread.
