Crazy

been wanting one since high school (ten years ago).
it was done with 5 different shaped scalpel blades, and took 7.5 hours. the arm hurt, but the chest was beyond my threshold for pain... this is why the staff of the scythe doesnt connect to the reaper.
the thinner cuts are single cuts gone over about 5 times. the wider parts and chunks in from of the skull are actually complete skin removal, where they peel off sections kind of like a carrot peeler... but more tedious and with a scalpel.
in a month i am hoping to have a demon wing cut into my rear delt and shoulder blade that will be attached to the reaper.
eventually i will have a full sleeve of scars, and there will be a few upside down crosses above the reapers head.
it is very hard to predict how scars will heal, especially since this is my first one. the artist is incredibly talented and is on of the top (if not THE top) in the world.
i will not discuss where it was done or who did it. it was, however, done out of state.
the healing was mostly four days. i would put a thin layer of vaseline over it, and kept it wrapped air tight (as much as i could) in saran wrap. scrubbed it twice a day with anti bacterial soap. the purpose of this is to PREVENT a scab. it was kept raw and open for four days. the point is to get the wound to heal from the bottom up, as opposed to from the sides --> in, which is how it would heal with a scab. i got a low grade fever and flu like symptoms so i hopped on antibiotics immediately, and the infection symptoms subsided within 24 hours.
the chest keloided nicely, but the arm remains flat. not sure why.
